New PSP goes official and respond to NGP

Much have been said [and leaked] about what would be of the PSP heir, the so-called PSP2, though out this last months. Truth is that only today [January 27th] Sony has officially revealed what it will be of the portable and is quite different from the expected.

Differences begin with the name, the new PSP is been called by Sony as NGP, or “Next Generation Portable” Entertainment System. Also, the new hardware features both a front touchscreen 5-inch OLED display (960×544 resolution — 4x the PSP’s) and rear touchpad, front and rear cameras, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.
